|James Lamar Butler
June 15, 1935 - February 22, 2013
|Mr. James Lamar Butler, age 77, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2013 in a Griffin Health Care Facility. Mr. Butler was born in Pike County to the late Mr. Sim Butler and the late Mrs. Christine Butler. He was retired from the William Carter Company and a member of the Beulah Baptist Church in Meansville. Mr. Butler was preceded in death by his Wife of 50 years, Annette Buffington Butler, and his Son, William Riley “Bubba” Butler.
Survivors include his Daughters – Deborah (& Mike) Harrison ; Elaine Butler ; & Teresa Butler Boggs ; 2 Brothers – Johnny (& Martha) Butler ; & Larry (& Pat) Butler ; a Sister – Virginia Parker ; 2 Sister –in-laws – Bobbie Bridges ; & Charlene (& Roger) Hollingsworth ; 9 Grandchildren ; 10 Great Grandchildren ; & several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
Funeral Services for Mr. James Lamar Butler will be conducted at 11 O’ Clock on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 from the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Lamar Memory Gardens. The Family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home on Monday evening, February 25, 2013 from 6pm until 8pm.
