Welcome to the site of Williams Funeral Home of Barnesville.Williams Funeral Home of Barnesville is one of three funeral homes owned and operated by The Williams Family. There are currently three generations of the James A. Williams Family who are active in the funeral homes.
Williams Funeral Home strives to make sure that the family's needs are met, and that everything possible is done to make a difficult time a little more bearable. We are committed to providing all of the families we serve with caring, compassionate, and dignified services. We aren't just a funeral home, we are a friend of the family.
For over 40 years, Williams Funeral Home has been serving families all over Middle Georgia with Dignity, Respect, and Honor.
We believe that when a family entrusts us to help them plan a tribute to their loved one, that it should not be a mournful occasion, but rather a celebration of a life that has been lived. We take that trust that the family places with us to be one of great importance. We are honored to be able to serve the families of Middle Georgia, and strive to offer a wide range of services to be able to fulfill the wishes of any family that calls on us, and plan a celebration that will be consistent with the needs and expectations of that family.We will take the time to plan every detail and do everything possible to relieve the burden on you and your family during the time of loss.
**Special Programs:
We offer a Public Servant Honorary Service, which we have named the "Fallen Heroes Plan".This means that any Public Servant who is either protecting this country, or serving his community, and is killed in the line of duty, is entitled to our Services at no charge. This is our way of saying thank you to those who put their lives on the line to protect the freedoms that we have both here at home and on foreign soil. For those families who suffer the loss of an infant, we offer our "Treasured Angels Program". This program is intended for those who suffer the loss of an infant (18 months or younger). With this program, we will provide our services at no charge. This is our way of expressing our condolences for one of the worst losses anyone may have to go through.

You may notice the "Obituary Section" at the bottom of the column on the left hand side of the page. This section contains Memorial Pages that we do for each and every person that we handle services for. Each Memorial Page contains biographical information about the person, and the list of surviving family members, just as an obituary that you would read in a newspaper. Families may even choose to post pictures on the Memorial Page. Each Memorial Page will support a Photo Gallery of up to eight pictures. Each Memorial Page also contains an online Guest Register Book, so that no matter where you or other family members or friends may be located, condolences may be expressed, and fond memories may be shared. Many of the families that we serve have used and appreciated the ability to do this. There is no charge for the Memorial Page, or anything contained within it. This is just one more way that we strive to provide the best possible service to the families that call upon us, and to make those services as affordable as possible.
